Enquiry skills
We have been making and writing questions that will help us find out about Brunel. We are using them to create a questionnaire to collect facts about the famous engineer.

Chalk drawings of the empty tomb
We worked in groups of three and used chalks to draw a picture of the empty tomb. We wrote words and captions next to them.

We worked together to write a letter to the council suggesting ways they can make the road around our school safer.

Our results
From yesterday's survey we have been putting our results into graphs using the computer to help us. We have had to remember to add all the labels.

Improving safety
In groups we discussed what could be done to make the busiest road safer and then chose our three best ideas.We decided the success criteria of a good discussion. You need to:

Traffic survey
Today we managed to miss the rain and carry out a traffic survey to find out how busy the roads around our school are. We had to use good counting skills and used a tally for the busy roads.
