Paralympics

We have been learning about the Paralympics. To get an understanding of what it might be like to have a disability the children have taken it in turns wearing ear protectors and blindfolds. They found it was very difficult doing certain things and that they needed often needed help.

Helping one of God's creatures

Today in our RE lesson we had an unexpected visitor. A woodlouse was walking across our carpet. The children suggested that we look after it because it is one of God's creatures. So we looked in our investigation book about woodlice that we did in term 4 and we found that they like damp and dark places. We then rescued the woodlouse by putting it outside behind the big box where it is nice and dark and nice and damp.
